2nd Semester Week 12

This week as been another one for writing and research into various areas of fine art and the use of text content within art. This will be the main part of my dissertation proposal. I have managed 500 words up to now and aim for more when I have researched more on the artists I wish to investigate further. I will be looking at Robert Rauschenberg's work, this will take me into the printing side of the fine art practice and looking at collage and the use of text within his work.

 I will also be looking into Tracey Emin's work and her use of text and word choices within her field of practice. Emin works involve various media such as painting, sculpture, needlework, film, drawing, photography and installation.

I have a long list of other artists that I will be looking into as well, these will include Liliane Lijn, John Baldessari, Susan Hiller and Cindy Sherman to name a few. The list will be shortened once I find relevant information that I can tussle with, this will be taking up my time in the summer months and I hope to get the relevant research done in order to get productive with my creative side.

Now the Easter break is over and Monday is all systems go and back to college for the final three weeks. Oh Heck where does the time go? I feel The need to clear out my studio space and get on with the presentation side of things. ciao for now
