Into week five now and getting on with some ideas in print using the collagraph plates and ideas about childhood memories, looking forward to seeing the results of this venture. also on the same subject I have decided to move into film, sound and installation work. This will be purely experimental on my behalf but I have made a maquette of the space I will be changing and I am experimenting with different ideas on this model stage.
I have also been catching up on some reading material and researching elements of contextual classes. I feel like I need to get my hands dirty and get on with actually making something though. But I suppose getting the research and ideas down on paper will strive me forward next week. Also trying some new techniques in print, these are not new techniques but new to me. Photo screen printing, acid etching and a more in depth form of lino printing. I love learning these new things it opens up so much scope to take ideas.
