Week 1 INSIGHT

Well this is it, i have just started my second year of my degree in fine art practice and the nerves have kicked in.  It is going to be an exciting and busy year.

The week has already started off well and with introductions on what is going to be happening over the next two semesters of my degree. only five days back and already we have an INSIGHT show at the college.

INSIGHT is two weekends at the college open to the public which gives the students chance to show off their works and artistic skills. we have a gallery open with various artists work on the walls and this is always a varied and interesting collection of pieces. we also have a few tables in the gallery with new and existing artists showing work practice and giving the public the chance to join in some of the interactive pieces. At the other end of the college there are also studios open with working student artists. the public are able to see the artists at work in their own enviroment and are able to ask any questions they may have about the artist and their particular practice.
